Factory Inauguration
The inauguration of the Energocell Foam Glass Factory, a unique plant in Hungary, took place on the 15th of February 2017. The factory of 20 employees recycles anually 12-13 thousand tonnes of glass waste as high temperature foamed insulation material. More than 100 participants honoured with their presence our factory inauguration, of whom the following played a prominent role:
V. Németh Zsolt, Minister of State for Environmental Affairs, Agricultural Development and Certified 'Hungaricum' Treasures, Ministry of Agriculture;
dr. Papp László, Mayor of the City of Debrecen;
Miklóssy Ferenc, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hajdú-Bihar County;
Kőszegi Dániel, Chief Executive Officer, Daniella Ipari Park Kft., Debrecen.
Known and manufactured for decades in several Western European countries the foam glass and several of its successful applications were highlighted during the press conference; for example: it is used as wall and floor filling, in the construction of sports grounds, ice rinks, roads and railways, under heated driveways and in noise barriers.
